After a long series of quests with little reward, Kazuma is exhausted. Even though most of their debt has been paid off, there is still too much to do. He decides to take a bath to feel better but notices Darkness is on her way to do the same thing. He sneaks around to get to the bath first so that Darkness either waits until later or will have to join him. After a couple minutes, Darkness walks in and Kazuma smiles like the pervert he is. She is embarrassed at first and then becomes angry when Kazuma teases her by saying her real name, Lalatina. Her anger quickly fades as she begins to thank Kazuma for his hard work. Taken back by this, he begins to feel bad and apologizes for the teasing. Darkness then asks him if he would like a reward since all his money went to paying off their debt. Assuming it's going to be some weapon or something, Kazuma accepts. That's when Darkness gives him something he only dreamed of.
